Recorded not long after Ian returned to ranching in Alberta, One Jump Ahead of The Devil was a return to Ian’s western heritage and musical roots. Of this album, arguably the most well-known track “Half-Mile of Hell”, is played regularily at most chuckwagon races throughout Alberta, paying homage to several of the sports legendary drivers.
